Our testing laboratory performs daily, quality controls for our products. Compressive strength, bending, abrasion, water absorption tests and laboratory composition studies are some of the most significant activities of our labs.

Precast concrete paving blocks, flags and kerbs belong to compliance system 4 as their possible failure is not considered dangerous for the health and safety of users.
This means that the only person that can certify the quality of the products is their producer. The way to achieve this certification is type testing of the product as well as production control at the factory.
Of course, a prerequisite for the above is that the producer has a quality control laboratory in which he maintains calibrated - by an external certified body - laboratory equipment where he performs daily tests on the products produced and checks compliance with the specifications of each standard. In case the producer performs the production tests in an external laboratory, they should keep a record proving them, with clear traceability of the results (batch number, production dates, results of tests of specimens, raw materials, etc.), which is practically impossible as this entails huge costs for the company.
NOTE: Public sector technical services are required by law, upon receipt of products, to perform quality checks based on a specific sampling plan: "The tests will be performed by the buyer and seller together in an agreed area, usually either on site at the project or in the factory, using the manufacturer's calibrated equipment." Certificates
At Tsimentodomi, produce and sell products with the required CE marking that carries all the relevant and necessary Declarations of Performance with full traceability of their Technical Characteristics.
Declarations of Performance (DoP) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) of each product, may be found either on the corresponding page of the product or by request.
We also hold a registered patent for the products of the Polyblok® product series.
